Partly Cloudy CF joined our program in March of 2021 and unfortunately didn’t stay long. She is a bay tobiano hiding under that gray coat 🙂 We liked her for her very nice conformation, cool temperament and talent for every ring, and also the fact she is one of the well bred tobiano mare in North America.

Cloudy did well as a young horse in eventing when she was in California, up to the Prelim level. She even won the YEH 5-year-old division with a final score of 83.06% in 2016 under the saddle of Kelly Pugh, who won the gold medal at the North American Young Rider Championships at the three-star level.

Although Cloudy was developed in eventing, she is by the wonderful International Hunter Derby winning stallion Palladio crossed on the fabulous show hunter April Sound (JC Ruthie Dear). This cross has produced several fabulous full siblings winning in the “A” hunter ring and International Hunter Derby. As a filly, Cloudy scored PREMIUM at her OLDNA registration with a score of 8.1.
